Bernard George “Ben” Luetkemeyer was born 25-NOV-1884 in Augusta. He was the son of Bernard Heinrich Luetkemeyer (1847-1918) and Marie E Beimdiek (1856-Unknown) Luetkemeyer. His draft registration indicates of his employment status: “Just laid off, worked by the day. We are farmers in the Femme Osage.” He had one brother: Gustave and one sister: Mary Catherine.
He entered the service 12-MAY-1918. He served in the 38th Company 7th Division. He died at Camp MacArthur Texas of pneumonia or Spanish Influenza 25-MAY-1918. His burial information is unknown.
