Mark D. Blakey Jr. was born 16-JAN-1991. His mother is Cynthia Blakey and is father is Mark Blakey. Mark graduated from Ft. Zumwalt North High School in 2009, and excelled at wrestling and football, and joined the Army soon after graduation. Mark was very proud to be a soldier in the US Army and had returned from a tour in Iraq where his fellow soldiers and superiors state that he was an exceptional soldier, always willing to go the extra mile for his comrades.

Army Specialist Mark D. Blakey, Jr. was stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas.

He died on 23-FEB 2013. He was 22 and married. His wife is Sherteasiwa and she has one son. Mark always wore his famous smile, and throughout his short life was always a great friend, son, and patriot. Mark D. Blakey Jr. is buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
