Today we were saddened to hear of the passing of Rose Barrale, wife of the late Ralph Barrale Sr.

Rose is preceded in death by her dear husband of 72 years, Ralph Barrale, Sr. The St. Charles County Veterans Museum was the dream of Ralph, and Rose was always by his side supporting his efforts. ,

She is also precdeded in death by her father, Joseph Busalaki, mother, Rose Pitti Busalaki, Twin Sister, Anna Marie Bognar, brother, John Busalaki, sister, Louise Stepler and Grandson, Eric Pluth.

She is survived by her daughter, Josephine Ann (Richard) Rice of Huntsville, Alabama and sons, Ralph Barrale of Wentzville and Lari (Debbie) Barrale of Cape Coral, Florida. 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Rose Marie raised her family in Florissant, and has been a resident of Lake St. Louis for over 40 years. Not only did she support Ralph in all of the work he did for Veteran’s here in St. Charles County, she was Chairwoman of the Lake St Louis Cookout Group, Member of the Lake St. Louis VFW Women’s Auxiliary, volunteer at the Green Lantern Senior Center, Volunteer at St. Patrick’s Church in Wentzville. She has been a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Rose visited the museum often, encouraging our team and thanking us for our hard work. She told us very often how pleased Ralph would be to see the museum.

She will be dearly missed by all of us. We love you Rose!
