MID AMERICA VETERANS MUSEUM

WELCOME TO THE MID AMERICA VETERANS MUSEUM

Ralph Barrale wanted to see a Veterans Museum that would honor all of those Veterans who served our country, and especially those from St. Charles County. This was but another example of Ralph Barrale’s dedication to our servicemen and women and his desire to keep their memories in the forefront of the generations of today so that our Veterans will not be forgotten.

The museum opened in the spring of 2019. There you will find “Ralph’s Story” among others like his, who served our country, because Ralph felt:

No one is ever gone, as long as someone still has memories of them.

RALPH BARRALE

Ralph’s veteran story starts when he was drafted and served as a Combat M.P. with General Patton, fought at the Battle of the Bulge, and landed on the beaches of Normandy. World War II Veteran, Ralph Barrale had a vision.  He saw a museum that honored the Veterans who served from St. Charles County. Those that had served in peace time and war time. Those that served abroad or at home. Not just some, but all veterans. To inspire the grandchildren, inform everyone of their service to their country, and to engage everyone by telling their stories. Whether it be a veteran from World War II or Vietnam, Civil War or Afghanistan, it doesn’t matter, because EVERY VETERAN HAS A STORY. Want to learn more about the man that inspired the creation of the St Charles County Veterans Museum….

Easy access into the parking lot and big enough to turn my rig around. The museum was very informative on all the wars. They offer 30 and 50amp hookups for a donation.
